Hi, I’m told I should have an artist statement or something biographical along those lines.

I’ve been in and out of art for many years. Graduated in 2006 from a now-defunct art school in San Francisco. Since then I’ve worked in graphic design, photography, web design, software engineering, and music production.

In 2024 I’ve now come back to visual art, picking up a paint brush again and diving into the expansive world of abstract art. Balancing my primary musical works of deep ambient, drones, and experimentation. With both ambient music and abstract art, the joy comes from painting sound and colors, and seeing what forms eventually emerge. Sometimes they’re exploited further, or simply left to be.

I live in Jingletown, the quirky arts corner of Oakland, a constantly inspiring place to live and work. With my wife, our pets, and a large number of succulent plants.
